The Summoning of the Emperor Jones / Barbwire Crowns on Heavy Heads

“You Should See Me in a Crown”

“Bite my tongue, bide my time,
Wearing a warning sign.
Wait till the world is mine.
Visions I vandalize,
Cold in my kingdom size.
Fell for these ocean eyes.”
—Billie Eillish

The water power towers were as simple to build as a water wheel for a mill on the edge of a river or stream, and they worked on almost the exact same principle. The motion of the tide and waves pumped the water to the top, and gravity pulled it down to spin the turbines.

The two towers filled with water as the tide rose and ebbed, turning the floating turbines within the towers. It was easy to build and low-maintenance. In tandem with the desalination plants and the new ion-salt nuclear reactors, the new African nation shared the technology with her allies after the world saw the reliability of the new, cheap power source. The Arab oil emirates hated the competition from the clean energy of this invention, but they loved the new desalination plants he designed. When you’re a nation surrounded by desert near an ocean, and someone offers you fresh water, you take it.

There were always rumors that he had made a deal with the members of OPEC and the Arab oil states during his first solo circumnavigation as he sailed through the Red Sea, visiting Mecca on his way to the Suez Canal. Eventually, the Western alliance did try to kill him, but it had nothing to do with his inventions directly and everything to do with his politics.

The reason the Western coup attempt failed this time was that they had become so predictable. The AI MOTHER, as well as the Council of Ten—the warlords’ council—and Q10, all predicted this would be their first move rather than a direct attack. They monitored the White House press secretary and the U.S. media for the code words they used to demonize a nation before they attacked.

Once they started hearing those words, they knew the attack was imminent. In the months and weeks before the coup, they heard the code: terrorist, insurgents, freedom fighters—the same old jingoistic song they had been singing for decades whenever they were working their way up to attack a nation. These were the vocabulary words they used in the press. The history of Western interference is the veil of democratic slogans over the expansion of U.S. corporate power backed by the military-industrial conflict. From the gunboat diplomacy to take over smaller nations’ ports for coaling stations, later also airstrips to nuclear missile placements in Turkey secretly instigating the Cuban missile crisis and nearly starting WW3. The American story is a story of war; for over two centuries, this peace-loving nation has only known two years of peace. The rest of the world hates America’s freedom so much that when they send their armies to deliver it to them, they stare down the sights of their M16s.

The nations of the AUA had many problems, but the removal of the agitation and pitting tribe against tribe ended the day the general intelligence AI, code-named MOTHER, consulted with the AUA. The first meeting traced the history of tribes being tricked because the Western banks were funding both nations that were selling them the weapons and training them to fight each other. The banks, you must understand, are like the casino in Vegas or anywhere else, and everybody here knows the house always wins.

For centuries, it was the same pattern. The AI showed the council the graphs and dates; the backing nations always went back to alleged rival European colonial powers, but the same banks. The AUA representatives of the 54 nations on the continent of Africa eventually signed the new constitution and, like the EU, became nation-states of the AUA with one currency, one army, and nationalized resources and economy controlled by the first sentient AI, MOTHER—Isaiah Jones’ gift to his new homeland. The AI was better at pattern recognition and behavior prediction than any human. While not a seer or magical, there was more than enough information in history books and news files for her to only make predictions when she was certain of the outcome. In the four years she had been online, she had made no errors.

The African Alliance was still cautious but began to make plans for the event she predicted would occur in ten years when the West would attack directly. Her data sets calculated the amount of resources they extracted from the continent, what percentages went where in their economy, and how much they could extract through recycling. The same way Amazon knows you, this algorithm understood the West, and thus the nascent African United Alliance quietly prepared their troops for the inevitable attack.

The new nation had directed her wealth and resources inward; the great look inward was the beginning of the African Renaissance—the influx of workers from allies across the globe as the new 100-story ziggurats were constructed at sites around the coastline of the continental nation, with the 11th built in Havana, Cuba. It took months of intense negotiations and fine-tuning to refine a constitution and government to the point that all 54 nations would agree to join. Thus, the creation of the new nation; while its constitution was created in its first draft by AI MOTHER, it was ultimately finished by the peoples of the new nation.

The Matriarchal Monarchy was the idea of the AI to get the last of the elders of the oldest tribes to sign on. The elders and chiefs did not trust paper alone to bind the new nation; they saw this as the way their former colonial invaders had manipulated the peoples. They wanted blood bonds to become kin, joining the new nation in the creation of an elected royal lineage to represent the elected senators and congressmen. After consulting with the population in each nation, they elected their representatives to sit at the head of the legislative branch of the Council of Ten—this was 10Q, the ten families whose daughters would marry Emperor Jones. The computer’s logic was infallible; the head of the new tribe of the sea peoples had no blood feuds or ancient quarrels with any tribe—they were neutral and thus the perfect buffer and council.

This formed the new government: Emperor Jones, only useful as a tiebreaker; the head of the warlords, the military branch, while the Council of Ten and 10Q handled the judicial and legislative sectors of the government. Isaiah was surprised when what he thought would be a ceremonial affair took place with the signing of a few papers once his sloop docked in Ghana, and he signed his right of return papers. Then he passed the flash drive to the PM, and he would be on his way.

Of course, he had never been so wrong about anything in his life. It was not just ceremonial; on paper, they needed the marriage consummated, and they were expecting progeny. While he managed to consummate the marriage successfully on the night of their royal honeymoon, only three of the ten had given birth: the first being the eldest and highest-ranking member of Q10, Queen Z. Their son was the oldest of the princes; the twins were the children of the half-Japanese, half-Ghanaian Queen Sumiko Hanzo, and the mother of his daughter Kiera, Queen Roxxi of Uganda.

His role as warlord was initially designed to be merely ceremonial. The 10Q spent the next year after the coronation and wedding training the young sailor for the coming war. They did not know who would attack, only that MOTHER had predicted one in the beginning of the second year. The U.S. and its Western allies had been using the same bag of tricks for nearly a century to topple the governments of Black, Brown, Red, and Yellow peoples that refused to roll over to be bullied and robbed by Western corporations.

The first civil war after the creation of the AUA (African United Alliance) was in The Republic of Gambia, a nation only 50 miles across at its widest point and 200 miles long, created by Western oil corporations to steal Africa’s oil. The African nation of The Gambia was created in much the same manner as Hawaii was made a state. The land was originally part of Senegal, rich with oil, seized by a false U.S.-backed revolution and coup that installed a puppet of the U.S. and the oil company. All of the rest of the racket the government and the oil companies made was just fart noises to distract the ignorant and the uninformed from this fact.

The Western corporate oil interests [Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Gulf, etc.] needed control of the Gambia River to get the stolen crude to the Atlantic Ocean, thus the odd elongated, phallic shape of the cosmic joke of a nation that straddles the river—less than 20 miles on either side and only extending inland far enough to plunder the continent’s richest oil fields. The country is literally cut out of the middle of the nation of Senegal, thus stealing the nation’s most valuable resource for the West. No more.

The now 17-year-old math prodigy Isaiah Jones was summoned by 10Q, the executive branch of the AUA, led by the Egyptian-born Queen Zuberi Boujettif, to answer the call and lead his troops in the nation’s first test against the puppets of the Western powers. He had been in training for most of the year prior to leading the rapid deployment infiltration unit Omega Squadron, a close-quarters urban assault and infiltration unit trained in speedy conflict resolution. That was the government speak for a state-sponsored death squad he led from the front, entering battle with his asset recovery team, Omega Squadron, to end the revolt that began just after the AUA’s first anniversary.

In less than 48 hours after the arrival of Omega, they had captured, tried, and executed the PM leading the coup. When the counsel of 10s legislative ruling body 10Q summoned the head of the warlords the rest of the world learned the new Matriarchal Monarchy were not to be trifled with.

Omega Squadron were trained for speed, specializing in covert infiltration and rogue asset extractions and executions. They were not sent to negotiate; they did not come to save the hostages; they did not come to take prisoners. Their mission was to end the conflict as quickly as possible; they were sent to “cut off the head of the snake.”

The reason for speed was simple: the leaders of the African United Alliance were students of history. Ten Q, the nation’s executive branch and legislative regional queens, the ten chief warlords head of the defense department, and the general intelligence AI, MOTHER, would have no heroes or martyrs only dead men whose attempts to seize power failed.

There would be no time to gather sympathy in the international press while languishing in prison, no books will be written while in exile, and no opportunity to return at a later date to try to overthrow the government again. The new nations judicial system was transparent to a fault, while redefining the definition of “speedy trial.” The traitor’s trials were held where they were captured on the battlefield as soon as the ADF/African Defense Force was in control.

The law in the AUA differs significantly from the law in western nations. In the West, one side is trying to win; they lie as a matter of course to get their clients freed in defense, and to secure convictions from prosecutors. In contrast, the United African Alliance new courts are not adversarial; they function instead as truth-finding commissions. The new continental African nation broadcast the trial live; the judges and the jury panel and the Council of Ten all attended remotely, thier images of the counsel of 10 and 10Q meeting in the Capital building in the nation State Ghana’s Accra Bay. When found guilty of treason, the sentence was death. It was their commander’s idea, with advise from 10Q and MOTHER to execute the prisoner personally in order to shield his troops from blood feuds or international attacks in thier courts and media. Isaiah agreed with thier logic.

The newly formed tribe the children of the diaspora and Isaiah now belonged to the “Nsamankɔmfoɔ” / The Sea Peoples tribe had no historical enemies in Africa; the returning tribe comprised of the returning members of the diaspora named by the Twi-speaking Akan Asante elders, the “Nsamankɔmfoɔ”/The Sea Peoples could not be perceived as biased since they were a new tribe with no ancient grudges. This saved his troops from any political blowback from the actions of Omega Squadron. While it was met with the usual Karen-esque cries from the hypocrites leading the Western governments and their so called free press objectively reporting embedded media, the rest of the world and Africans saw the wisdom of the AUA actions.

Before the execution the young warlord stripped out of his ADF uniform to a loincloth and combat boots, wearing only his Black skin carved with ancient stone blades by the Twi speaking Akan Asante shaman during his coronation with the Adinkra symbols Akofena (“sword of war”) covering most of his back. He gave the traitor King Hiram Boujettif of Egypt the option to die with honor and kill himself with one of the three blades he laid out in front of the convicted. The knife, the sword, or the spear.

“Your families name will retain its honor if you fall on you sword, if you have any dignity you would do this yourself Nana.” Isaiah implored the old warrior king. The old warrior looked Isaiah in the eye, chose his weapon picked up a spear, and took a fighting stance. The end came swiftly a moment later Isaiah Jones plunged his spear through the heart of his father in law; the world understood the steel of their conviction. Queen Zuberi Boujettif his own daughter, the head of 10Q, read the judgment and gave the order to her young husband to follow the law. Isaiah looked into her eyes searching for a way out hoping she would spare her own father, her eyes looked back without mercy; her fathers position of power would garner him no special favor. This was Africa there was one law for all. The constitution dictated the penalty of for treason was death.

The world had seen videos the new African emperor Jones, dancing with this man at his wedding. It was well known that the young warlord loved his father-in-law. The execution proved to his people and the world that the laws were just. No other opinion mattered; this is Africa. The message to the West was clear: if he would do this to a man he loved like a father, what would be the fate of any Westerner captured while invading African territory? He turned to face the judges and jury on the screen when it was done. He spoke solemnly his voice tinged with sorrow and conviction.

“If you follow the path of this man, if you seek to avenge this traitors death, this, his will be yours. Those who hide behind high walls vast oceans armored bunkers in the side of mountains know this. You cannot hide from justice, we will not fight your foot soldiers, we will not be drawn into yuor craven passive aggressive proxy wars, there is nothing passive in my aggression.

Understand that no matter who you are you cannot hide behind the armed children of you citizens. I promise you this, if you attack directly or indirectly by proxy we will find your leadership and cut off the head of the snake. You have been warned. Do not believe for a minute that you can attack this nation and hide in your distant capital buildings while your drones destroy our cities. This man committed treason and the penalty for treason is death. He choose his own fate. If you chose this path you must ask yourself one thing. How do you want to die?” The world watched the boys his eyes filled with tears as he kneeled gently lifted the body of his father in law in his arms and carried away him away to be buried properly in his homeland. He looked at Zuberi as he spoke his voice a sorrowful growl.

“This is me at my most empathic, this is me at my most merciful.”

“You should see me in a crown

I’m gonna run this nothing town

Watch me make ’em bow

One by one by one

One by one by

You should see me in a crown

Your silence is my favorite sound

Watch me make ’em bow

One by one by one

One by one by one”

symbol of courage, valor, and heroism

The crossed swords were a popular motif in the heraldic shields of many former Akan states. In addition to recognizing courage and valor, the swords can represent legitimate state authority.”]

[“Zuberi Boujettif – Zuberi: The senior wife of the ten queens, a representative of the eleven tribes of Egypt of the Nubian tribes, who traces her ancestors back to the 24th dynasty, 800 BC. A classically trained musician and composer with a degree in psychology. The most dangerous of the ten queens , she wears an ivory linen robe embroidered in gold. She is also a schizophrenic witch and a practitioner of the darkest of arts, and ironically in possession of a pure soul, an AUA true believer. One of her personalities is hopelessly in love with Isaiah since he sailed though Key West. She acts as his eyes and ears in the government.”]
