I find it humiliating to have to take 

antidepressants antipsychotics and mood stabilizers

yet it is such a small price to pay to stay out

of the mad house, jailhouse or the streets of the southern slums

with the rest of the dregs of the amerikkkan west

revolutionaries marching without any economic boycott 

their impotent postures erode beneath defeat perhaps 

a lesson was learned perhaps they will do better tomorrow

after the palestinian genocide is over and the ghanaian massacres

and jordanian tragedy, syrian fleeing and the turkish bombings and the london tube bombing 

and the tibetans blind folded backs against the great wall, 

the news is talking of terror in paris as another plane is shot down

the police murder another unarmed child, another woman in a cell, 

on camera, chokes holds, batons and tasers cracking 

all of course not real all merely a figment 

of the mystical negro imaginary the suspect already in cuffs.
